You Take My Breath Away

It has been raining for six days. George and I are cuddling in bed in the early morning listening to the rain and wind outside the window. It’s warm. It’s cozy. It’s delicious!

George whispers in my ear, “You take my breath away.”

I quip back, “Oh, is that why you have shortness of breath?” Pretending to talk to his doctor, I say, “Doctor, he says I take his breath away. What shall we do?”

George replies for the doctor, “Enjoy it as long as you can!”  We laugh. That is one of the many things I love about my husband, his sense of humor.  It never fails to keep us laughing.

May the love that fills my heart and home find it’s way into your heart and home and bless you with mystery and surprise every day! Happy Holidays to all!

Until you return, fill your days with GIGGLES, JOY, and APPRECIATION!
