Wayne Dyer - Excuses Begone!

There is a wonderful program currently showing on PBS television featuring Wayne Dyer talking about his new book, Excuses Begone!  Besides being entertaining, Wayne is right on target with his message, how to handle excuses. He has come up with 18 declarations to replace the 18 most common excuses that we often use unconsciously to give our power away. In his book and PBS presentation, Wayne puts the excuse first, followed by the affirmation. I have flipped them. I hope you find them as potent as I do.

· I feel passionately about my life and this passion fills me with excitement and energy. replaces: I don’t have the energy.

· I am open and willing to attract all that I desire being here now.  replaces: It’s never happened before.

· I am connected to an unlimited source of abundance. replaces: I can’t afford it.

· I have access to unlimited assistance. My strength comes from my connection to my source. replaces: I’m not strong enough.

· I have the ability to accomplish any task I set my mind to with ease and comfort. replaces: it will be difficult.

· I can accomplish anything I put my mind to because I know I’m never alone. replaces: I’m too scared.

· The right circumstances and the right people are already here and will show up on time. replaces: no one will help me.

· I think only about what I can do now. By thinking small I accomplish great things. replaces: it’s too big.

· I live my life according to divine rules. replaces: the rules won’t let me.

· I have infinite patience when it comes to fulfilling my own destiny.  replaces: it will take a long time.

· I live in the present moment by being grateful for all my life experiences as a child. replaces: it’s my personal family history.

· I’d rather be loathed for who I am than loved for who I am not.   replaces: there will be family drama.

· I’m a creation of the divine mind, all is perfect and I am a genius in my own right.  replaces: I’m not smart enough.

· I’m a divine creation, a piece of God. How could I be undeserving?   replaces: I don’t deserve it.

· I’m an infinite being. The age of my body has no bearing on what I do or who I am.  replaces: I’m too old or I’m not old enough.

· Being myself involves no risks. It’s my ultimate truth and I live fearlessly.  replaces: it’s going to be risky.

· My essential nature is faultless and innocent. It is to this nature that I return. replaces: it’s not my nature.

· As I unclutter my life, I free myself to answer the callings of my soul. replaces: I’m too busy.

Until you return, fill your days with GIGGLES, JOY, and APPRECIATION!
